All-in-one diapers
Before putting on the diaper, it needs to be activated, meaning prepared for use in 2 steps:
- Unfold the diaper, grab it by both ends and gently pull.
- Fold the diaper lengthwise in half.
Note: Do not twist the product.
By activating the product, the absorbent core will become fluffier and better prepared for absorption.
Putting on the product while standing – by yourself or with the help of a caregiver
Place the activated diaper between the legs, holding the product in a boat-like shape.
Note: you can place the product from the front or the back – to relieve your back, choose the method that is more comfortable for you in a given situation.
Adjust the adult briefs at the back and front so that they fit snugly to the body.
Note: Make sure that the wetness indicator is located along the extension of the spine. The care recipient can help with putting on the adult briefs by holding them at the front on the lower abdomen.
Secure the adult briefs using the elastic hook-and-loop fasteners, starting with the lower fastener, which should be attached slightly diagonally upwards. After securing the lower fasteners, secure the upper hook-and-loop fasteners, adjusting the adult briefs to the waist. After fastening the adult briefs, make sure that the diaper fits well and adheres to the body, that the side gathers are not rolled up, and that the diaper does not dig into the body anywhere. Roll up the used adult briefs and dispose of them in the trash can. Do not dispose of the used product in the toilet.
Putting on the product on a person lying down
Stand at the edge of the bed and bend one of the patient's legs at the knee.
Note: if you are standing on the patient's right side, bend their left leg; if you are standing on their left side – bend their right leg.
Turn the patient onto their side and, after performing care activities, place the previously activated adult briefs behind the patient.
Note: Remember to fold up the wing of the adult briefs, which will allow them to be removed from under the patient after turning them onto their back. Make sure that the wetness indicator is located along the extension of the spine.
Place the patient on their back, straighten their legs, and pull out the folded-up wing of the adult briefs. Pull out the front part of the adult briefs and fit it to the crotch. Secure the adult briefs using the elastic hook-and-loop fasteners, starting with the lower fastener, which should be attached slightly diagonally upwards. After securing the lower fasteners, secure the upper hook-and-loop fasteners, adjusting the adult briefs to the waist. After fastening the adult briefs, make sure that the diaper fits well and adheres to the body, that the side gathers are not rolled up, and that the diaper does not dig into the body anywhere. Roll up the used adult briefs and dispose of them in the trash can. Do not dispose of the used product in the toilet.
