What is the difference between incontinence pads and regular sanitary pads?

Sanitary pads are not sufficient protection for urinary incontinence. They are designed for absorbing blood, which is thicker and appears in much smaller quantities. Therefore, they cannot cope with absorbing urine or with the unpleasant odor.
